La Machine Carousel [blog post]

After following their work for quite some time, I finally got to see some in person in Paris. French company La Machine build some incredible kinetic sculptures and creatures and often create elaborate street performances staged around them. The piece I saw was titled Le Manège Carré Sénart, it’s a Carousel on tour and was at the 104.

Their website is well worth a look, there are some lovely photographs documenting various large projects. We also caught a brilliant Pierrick Sorin exhibition at the 104, nice day.
